<&McMartin>
That sounds like a Robert Ludlum novel
00:01
<~Vornicus>
It's actually a number. 57.

< RobinStamer>
Apparently it's multi-cast?

No idea why it completely destroys the network though

Vorn: Just grab one of the squads that looks simple, and give it a go against something swarmy (Fighting against syndicate Thug is a good one; the AI knows what it's doing there)

I think I've explained enough rules in passing you might do kinda OK~

Is this a full sim?

hm, that Vader + HowlRunner + 3x Black Squadrons might make a good practice; set the four TIEs up in a spaced-apart square.

Pretty close!

We've had one on VASSAL for some time, but that's VASSAL and VASSAL is a pain in the arse

<@ErikMesoy>
How much HTML is actually unparseable by regular expressions in practice, though?
23:06
< crystalclaw>
theoretically, none, but...
23:06
<&McMartin>
Well
23:06
<&McMartin>
Parsing stuff where nesting matters means you have to track nesting, and nesting requires a stack
23:06
<&McMartin>
HTML is fun for that because nest-closing operations are sometimes implicitly added
23:08 Netsplit Kakrafoon.Nightstar.Net <-> Krikkit.Nightstar.Net quits: @PinkFreud, @ToxicFrog
23:09
< RobinStamer>
Not all HTML is on one line. Many regex libraries don't work well when matching across lines.
23:10
< RobinStamer>
You can also have a lesser-than inside of an attribute, which (depending on the regex) could screw up your "parsing"

< RobinStamer>
HTML is also super great for having a consistient thing to parse. At first glance you're looking at and for open/close tags. But then you may also have to handle attributes, which are an entirely different thing to parse. Also there's malformed HTML that a proper parser can handle, such as stray lesser-thans just hanging about, or implicitly closed tags.
23:13
<&McMartin>
Implicitly closed tags aren't even malformed!
23:13
<&McMartin>
If you want to insist on closing tags, you want the XML stuff
23:13
< RobinStamer>
The only time using regex on HTML is sane... is when the HTML doesn't change.
23:14
< RobinStamer>
Aye. And self-closing tags aren't actually HTML, they're XML... but HTML parsers will handle them anyways because people expect that to work when it's not XHTML.
23:15
<&McMartin>
Self-closing like <br/>?
23:15
<&McMartin>
(Making sure I'm following here)
