I always thought it was a little strange that the scales people talk about stipulate the height of a human, but not really the height of a frame in relation to a human. I guess there must be some stuff about that in the sections of the book I've not read? But to me, saying "7P" is insufficient; "7P and a Chub is a normal-sized mech" actually really specifies things.
man, there is a creeper out there....and it going to be there in the morning I just know it and all I got is a freaking wooden sword. Of course talking here delays the night getting over.
I'd much prefer, and I think it's much more useful to say "the average/median/whatever frame for our purposes is X bricks/plates/king's appendages tall"
The Chub is set as the standard ref, the expected max box is like 10x10x12, 12 being height. The point of the human scale ref though is for terrain building and stations I think.
