I'm spending so much time on the security design of these ephemeral devices. it is so annoying.

when I assumed a wired connection and put avahi on them, and deployed them with a public ssh key, I was good.

now "connect to the wifi" is a thing, and I can't see how I can do that without needing to encrypt the wifi password.
