I used to like this one app that has been having trouble with its redesigns, including frequently liking to hide the topbar until you either scroll back a lot or, if that's not possible, restart the app.

SNES audio has a lot of parts! This is even before trying to use it to do _music_, just doing playback of a single digital clip
20:34
<&McMartin>
(And unlike the Genesis, these two tasks are broadly the same thing)
20:41
<~Vornicus>
Retro Game Mechanics Explained did a video series about a lot of the capabilities of the SNES
20:41
<~Vornicus>
Interesting stuff, though it didn't show anything about how to pilot it
20:43
<&McMartin>
That series is also markedly incomplete
20:43
<&McMartin>
I relied on it as one of my sources but at the end of the day this is a dark enough corner that it, the SNESdev wiki, and everyone else is just citing each other in circles
20:43
<~Vornicus>
man
20:45
<&McMartin>
There's *one* document on RHDN that goes into the kind of detail on it that the VIC-II or the TIA has gotten, and it's not 100% clear that its conclusions for how to control the chip are actually right, and I got inconsistent results across common high-end emulators
20:45
<&McMartin>
If anyone has a Genesis or SNES flash cart, hit me up, I'd love to do some hardware verification >_>
